"Willow" is part of a larger project, sponsored by The Notice Foundation, a 501(c)(3) private foundation that develops and supports narratives from marginalized communities. The "Willow" project focuses on hiring BIPOC folx behind the camera, as well as in front of the camera.

I'm feeling so much gratitude for the work I'm doing right now.

On Tuesday, I got the opportunity to co-direct & shoot with my producer/co-director buddy Pierre Jean Gonzalez on an immensely powerful piece that tackles gender & sexuality in Bomba.

RELEASE: an experimental short film

Here’s a film that I’m REALLY proud of: “Release.” I co-directed, edited and DP’d (director of photography) on it. And I was smart enough to ask for help from Katrina Reid (1st AD/ Production Manager), Dominik Czaczyk (Gaffer/2nd Camera) & Sultan Ali (Grip/2nd AC). After nearly two months of pre-production, we managed to turn two days of shooting into a masterpiece.
