Loving Life Till The End..

What a photo shoot w/ VNS-NY taught me.

A few weeks ago, I got the opportunity to work a photo/video gig for VNS-NY. They're an organization that focuses on end of life care. It opened my world up to the complexities of how to care for someone that you know has no opiton to recovery. How do make life enjoyable when the end is inevitable? These were questions they often ask themselves often. But we can ask ourselves the same thing. It shouldn't take an existential threat to have us examine the quality of our lives. Because, like your one pretentious friend who went backpacking over the summer says: "We're all dying." It's true. Our time here is finite. Let's make the best of it.
